Fruits & Vegetables
We currently grow 12 types of fruit and more than 30 types vegetables on half an acre with our most popular selections being salad mix, raspberries, blueberries, heirloom tomatoes, bell peppers, carrots, beets, sweet onions, and peas. We maintain high quality standards for the produce that we sell, with the goal of exceeding our customers expectations each week.
We practice no-till farming methods, crop rotation, and the use of cover crops to enhance the health of our soil. The pest control methods and soil amendments that we use are approved for organic farming, and we make compost on our farm from plant residue, vegetable waste, and chicken manure.
We strive to continuously learn about new production methods to naturally foster the improvement of our growing environment, and focus on reducing waste.
Our goal is to increase biodiversity by growing plants to attract a wide variety of beneficial species such as bees, butterflies, ladybugs, birds, and frogs.
